Impact of COVID-19 On the Event Management Industry

As we all know that event management industry is like other businesses depend upon the different stakeholders for the execution of the conferences, summits, training and other different kinds of event. So due to this Pandemic disease our industry is suffering a lot. 

Every conference consist of different attendees from all across the globe and for this all the concerned professionals need to come from different parts of the world and they gather at one place for the specific conference. But due to this Global health issue all the international organizations have imposed the travel bans on their employees and they can not attend any conference or training in any part of the world.

Due to these Travel bans, execution of conferences is getting tougher and tougher. Solution Provider companies are not ready to invest in any such exhibitions and marketing presentations. Companies have restrict their budgets because of this global issue.


As we know that the major chunk or market of this industry lies in Europe and US and both of these regions are damaged from this disease. 

Most of the events which we have planned in the first quarter of 2020 is seem difficult to be executed. We as a event management company, monitoring the situation of the industry on the weekly basis and we sit down together and discuss how we can deal with these repercussions.

Right now the most effected regions in Europe are ; Italy, Spain and Germany. These regions are one of the most hot destinations for the pharma and supply chain conferences but at this moment they are suffering immensely.

Most of the Companies in the Event Management Industry has to call off their events which would be going to execute in the coming April and May 2020. Some events are the large scale global events with the gathering of more than 1000.
And because of this Pandemic disease people are not willing to gather at one place with this huge crowd and as a result whole industry is suffering badly. I hope and pray that things get better as soon as possible and businesses come on their normal pace.

We all should stand unite under these difficult circumstances with our all stake holders.

I am very much optimistic that things will get normalize within coming two weeks.
