My Life @ LUMS

Journey Begins as a Digital Advertising Student:

Its been 3.6 years that I have been working in the corporate sector after my MBA back in 2016 January. During this Professional journey I learned different aspects of Marketing and Sales, initially I started my job as a Business Development Executive and than I was Transferred to Marketing department and from there marketing becomes my core area of interest.

It use to be my priority that whatever I am doing I should keep on knowing the new avenues of the related field so this time it was marketing.

Back in 2017 I got to know that LUMS has started its professional certification programs in the social sciences field and at that time I decided to tap this opportunity. The course which I preferred for the 1st time was Organizational Physiology because at the end of day if you want to improve your marketing strategies than you have to create a inspiring organizational culture.

At the end of 2017 I got enrolled in another professional certification in SEO and Content Marketing and this is something where I entered and explored one aspect of Digital Marketing. The course was perfectly designed and all major components of Content marketing and SEO was covered. the best part of the course was case studies and the lab sessions to give hands on experience.

After this I haven't got an opportunity to do any certification because I was pretty much busy in my job and some new responsibilities.

But now 2 weeks before I got admission in LUMS again as Digital Advertising student and its going pretty much good. we are learning how Google is contributing in the development of business through Google Adwords and Google Adsense

Technology is evolving at the very rapid pace and this how AI and Machine Learning is also getting indulge in the field of Marketing.

It is very entertaining and fun loving class, the instructors are from Group M; a big Advertising agency, they use to share their experiences of different advertising campaigns with diversified brands.

Apart from this we are having a enjoyable life at LUMS. We are experiencing student life again and this is quite relaxing and refreshing. I hope this programme will go good and this journey will produce better results in my coming professional life.
